Jhand Taal In Pilibhit Tiger Reserve
Jhand Taal is the home to various local species of many migrants of birds from October to March. This is the world’s best Bird Sanctuary spot including the birds like Common Teal, Crested Serpent Eagle, Common Moorhen, Grey-Headed Fish Eagle, Northern Pintail, Asian Openbill, and many others as well.

This National Park Wildlife Sanctuary has a vast number of tigers and leopards, and the thick vegetation makes it quite daunting to spot anyone. This area is known for having a large number of Indian one-horn rhinos. The Rhino has spotted in 1984 once again and thrived in the park. With the vast environmental success, the park is now for having 30 rhinos which are very likely to be spotted by Elephant Safari in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. Visitors can also spot the swamp deer which is also known as “Barasingha”, hog deers, Monkeys, Cheetal, Langurs, and a host of various other animals. There are almost 800 varieties of birds are there in the park such as Kingfishers, Great Pied Hornbill, Drongos, Flycatchers, etc.
