Pilibhit Tiger Reserve Chuka Beach

The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is located in the district of Pilibhit, Bahraich and Lakhimpur, the districts of Uttar Pradesh. Some of the rivers originate from the reserve that is also the watershed area for various others including Chuka, Mala, Sharda, and Khannot. This habitat is known for the Saal Forests, swamp, and tall greenery that are maintained by the constant flooding from the rivers. Chuka beach is a well-known tourist destination that is located between the Sharda Canal and Sharda Sagar Dam nearby the Pilibhit City in Uttar Pradesh in India.

The Chuka Spot is extended over 10 KMs which goes via the thick forest to make this place a desired one among the visitors. With this extended road, you will find the lines of Pakar and Pipal trees. The greenery shows that it is home to various animals and birds as well including monkeys, wild hare, boars, flamingos, quails, ducks, and others.

The Sharda Sagar Dam is extended up to the length of 22km and is situated on the reserve boundary. It lies among the Indo-Nepal border in the Himalayas foothills and the plains of the Terai in Uttar Pradesh. Pilibhit Tiger Conservation Porject is one of the 51 Projects of Tiger Reserve in India.
